A raindrop splatters the glass

I think of how long Ive been inside these walls
And the sun fades to darkness
Like my life—slowly slipping away

Losing touch bit by bit
Like my life—slowly slipping away
In this Southern cinderblock hell.

This collection is supported by The Learning Inside Out Network (LION), an Alaska-based grassroots group that increases access to quality participation in artistic exchanges for people inside and out of the carceral system.
